After an extensive period in the recording studio, THE OPPOSITE is ready to spread the word about their debut album WELCOME TO THE WORLD, released in January 2020. The trio from Switzerland formed in 2017, played a few gigs and was since then found in the studio reworking and producing their songs. Their music is deeply influenced by the band members’ work in film music and their profound affinity to elaborate acoustic and electronic sounds. The core of THE OPPOSITE’s music is a groovy type of alternative rock while it tends to spread out into various other genres like pop, trip hop and electronica.
